Pressure Systems International Recognizes Employee with Carl Tapp Award

San Antonio, TX (September 21, 2009) Pressure Systems International has chosen Rosemary Baca as the first recipient of the first Carl Tapp Award.  Baca, a Cell Leader on the Control Box Line, was recognized for her dedication, in the face of some difficult challenges, to the PSI mission where everyone demonstrates commitment to customers, integrity, accountability, and results.  She has been with PSI since 2006. 

The award was named for Carl Tapp, VP of Maintenance at P.A.M Transport.  Tim Musgrave, President of PSI explained the naming of the award.  “We are guided everyday by the four cornerstones on which this company was founded: “Attitude is Everything, Never Give Up, Dare to Soar, and Whatever it Takes.  There are many people in our industry who embody these ideals, but Carl stands out to all that know him as we do as someone who epitomizes the true meaning of those cornerstones.  In spite of the significant physical challenges he faces everyday, Carl is an active participant and positive force in the trucking industry.”  Musgrave continued “Rosemary sets an example for all at PSI.  We couldn’t succeed without people like her and we are pleased to recognize her with the very first Carl Tapp Award.”
 
Members of the PSI family including employees, associates, and industry friends carry coins depicting one or more of the four cornerstones.  Tapp always carries the Attitude is Everything coin with him.  “I consider Tim and the rest of the folks at PSI true friends and that coin has gotten me through some tough times – it’s very important to me.  PSI should be commended for how they treat their employees and it’s an honor for me that they have placed my name on this employee recognition award.”
