James Burg Trucking Specs the Meritor Tire Inflation System by PSI with ThermALERT™ Technology
San Antonio, TX (October 13, 2008) James Burg Trucking of Warren, MI, a heavy load carrier operating multiple axle combination flat bed trailers now spec’s all new trailers with the Meritor Tire Inflation System (MTIS™) from PSI with ThermALERT™ technology along with Michelin X-One tires. According to James Burg, President, “Once we made the decision to put wide based single tires on our equipment, we knew we needed the capability of maintaining constant air pressure to those tires to get the most benefit. We chose the Meritor Tire Inflation System because we believe it’s the simplest, most reliable product. We’ve been able to increase fuel economy and have fewer road repairs.” James Burg Trucking is a SmartWay partner and both MTIS™ and Michelin X-One tires are recommended by SmartWay as technologies that can reduce the fuel consumption of commercial vehicles.
